We are thrilled to welcome Grace Tudor, P.A., to the Advantage Orthopedic & Sports Medicine team! Grace brings a rich blend of experience, passion, and adventure to her new role.
Grace grew up in East Peoria, Illinois, and later ventured west to San Diego, California, where she spent ten years exploring new horizons—both literally and figuratively. A dedicated surfer, she traveled extensively during that time, chasing waves from Honduras to Costa Rica, where she lived for a season before returning to the States.
It was in San Diego that Grace met her husband, and together they moved to the Reno/Tahoe area. There, she pursued a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience at the University of Nevada, Reno. While finishing her degree, she worked as a ski patroller at Tahoe, where she discovered a love for emergency medicine. This experience inspired her to earn her EMT certification, eventually leading her to roles as an ER tech and scribe.
Grace’s introduction to the Physician Associate profession came unexpectedly—in her 30s, during a dermatology appointment with a PA who made a lasting impression. Inspired by that interaction, she shadowed him to learn more about the field and soon realized she had found her calling.
Grace went on to attend the Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine, completing her Master of Physician Assistant Studies. During her training, she gravitated toward clinical rotations that involved surgery. She spent extensive time with Sports Medicine providers, where she developed a deep appreciation for injury prevention, rehabilitation, and helping patients understand their care options.
Outside of work, Grace stays active with her 4-year-old daughter. She still enjoys surfing and skiing and makes time for yoga, rowing, and regular gym visits. She’s delighted to be in Oregon—embracing the greenery and even the rain—and is excited to be working in what she describes as her dream job in Sports Medicine.
Please join us in welcoming Grace to the Advantage Orthopedic & Sports Medicine family!
